Hello, Lakers Nation. Welcome in Lakers Nation live. We are off and running fortuitous that the Mabs and Wolves game finished up right about when we would typically go live here on a Wednesday night, which is a little after 8 o'clock Pacific time.

Welcome in, everybody. If you're coming in from X, you're coming in from YouTube. Of course, you're coming in

from Facebook. We're going to talk a little bit of Lakers basketball. We'll certainly talk

Mavs, wolves as well. The epic game that we just saw. What a fantastic series. This is going

to be the Mavs get the job done in game one. Luca, my goodness, going berserk. But I want

to talk a lot as well about the Lakers, the roster they've got right now,

what they can actually build.

Do they have the foundation to build upon when we're comparing it to some of these

teams that we're seeing in the postseason right now?

That's what I want to get into tonight.

and comments as well real quick. The Mavs win final score 108 to 105. I had the Wolves in seven

going into this series. I think it's going to be a close series. I think it's going to be a great

series. This was such a fun game. Just back both these these teams, trading haymakers, counterpunching.

You saw them changing strategies on the fly and then adjusting to the adjustments.

Fantastic stuff.

If you love basketball, this game was phenomenal, just in terms of strategically what the

teams were doing, all the different things that were happening out there on the court.

And then, of course, you've got a superstar like Luca, going berserk, 33 points, six boards, eight assists, three steals. And he really turned it on late. Kyrie Irving, 30 for the Mavs. A lot of his damage happening in the first half, but 12, a 23 shooting man, when he's that efficient, that's going to be tough to beat this Dallas side.

13 turnovers for the Mazz, but 11 offensive rebounds.

Here's the thing.

The Mavs can play better.
