Welcome back into the CC podcast, everybody. It is the early afternoon of Friday, November 14th, Blackout Friday here in Louisville, Kentucky as the Cardinal football team looks for a bounce back win tonight over Clemson.

I'm here in Louisville, Kentucky. Dan Sarnard is up in Dublin, Ohio, getting ready for another big weekend of Cardinal Athletics. Probably a little shorter episode today. You've heard from us too much this week. You've already heard from us twice this week. We celebrated the basketball win together. We've got to get you ready for tonight's game against Clemson, but we'll probably keep today's pot a little bit shorter. Dan, how we feel in today? What are the vibes like up in there in Dublin,

Ohio? Yeah, a little gloomy out. But no, I mean, you know, here's the deal. I know we've

always traditionally been a, you know, kind of a non-Saturday,, is a lulable thing. Like, we play a lot of

Thursday games. And now it seems like we've moved to a lot of Friday games, which is, I mean,

that's totally fine. I'm a traditionalist. I like the Saturday. I like being in the mix

with all the other games.

But, I mean, I'm not going to complain about a Friday night game.

We got a blackout, a chance to kind of bounce back here and kind of, you know, maybe reshape how things are going to go for the rest of the season.

So I need to like pick myself up a little bit for the game, but I think probably by about six o'clock I'll be there.

I could have used the extra day this week.

You know, we had the, I think everybody's still buzzing from the Kentucky basketball game and people are still kind of licking their wounds from the football game on that side of things. Like, don't get me wrong. It's just like we talked about on the first pod this week. When, I'm sure when we wrap this up and I do the radio show, I'm going to be ready to go by 730 tonight. I know if you're listening to this, hopefully you're ready to go already, but could have used the extra day just to kind of get mentally prepared.

There's been a lot going on this week. A lot going on.

Could have used maybe an extra 24 hours. But we'll talk about why I think if the team's

able to win this, this could wind up being the best thing for the fan base because you

can do a little scoreboard watching tomorrow and maybe we can get back into the,

you know, back into the ACC title race. I think it's possible. I think it's more possible than

I believed after last week's loss to Cal. We'll discuss that in just a second. But first,

Dan, I think you have something you need to tell the people. Oh, of course I do. This is a first for the
