Well, hello, Kieran. We're back here again on a Monday morning and it feels like a world of difference from last week.

So much has happened over the weekend.

Well, not least, Pippa, because it being recess, we are not in our broom cupboard.

We are in the very spacious, glamorous, luxurious surrounds of the Guardian's head office up in Kings Cross.

And we actually have space to see each other and, you know,

actually talk properly without kind of perspiring in the middle of that parliamentary office.

Or expiring. Or expiring. But you'd have seen the news, of course, on Sunday evening that

the BBC's Director General Tim Davy and its head of news, Deborah Ternis,

have resigned after a report by a guy called Michael Prescott, who was a former advisor to the BBC.

That report accused the corporation of serious and systemic bias in its coverage of issues,

including Donald Trump, Gaza and trans rights.
