Recently, the FDA approved a brain implant to computer chip, developed by Elon Musk company

Nurellink for human trials.

The chips called the link and embeds on the brain's surface and sends electrical signals

to an external computer.

Musk hopes that the invention can enable patients to complete computer actions with their

thoughts, like using a mouse or a keyboard or even texting.

Musk believes that his new technology will be especially helpful for those individuals

with disabilities such as paralysis or even allowing the blind to see in the mood to

communicate.

As mind-blowing as technology like this can be, it should always remind us of both

attention and the temptation of living in the already not yet place between redemption

and restoration.

Technology, when rightly used, can be restorative, helping us overcome the effects of the fall.

However, even our best technologies cannot save the world, can never fully fix the human

condition, nor can it usher in a utopian age.

We have to always keep distinct humans made in God's image from the technologies that

are made by humans.
