I came across a video of a man and a woman talking and on so many levels it was just one of those situations

but I was like oh my gosh I mean honestly my heart I and then I kind of got a little I I don't want to say salty at the guy, he said, well, listen, in Christianity, the middleman is a lie.

I thought, interesting.

My name is Father Mike Schmitz and this is the century presents.

She was sharing how hard it is sometimes and hard it was is for her in this moment to, you know, be in the Catholic Church at times where you know that Jesus founded the Catholic Church,

that he's promised to guide the Catholic Church and to guard the Catholic Church.

And yeah, it's hard to live in this Catholic Church where yes, I know Jesus established this, but at the same time

I know that the people in the church are not

always divinely inspired right I know that they're not perfect I know that they're

bunch of sinners and it's even harder when a bunch of sinners in the church

get to make decisions that will affect our lives.

I was just like, just, aw, torn up.

But then the man who had just said he had recently become Christian, which is great,

amazing, praise God.

And he met this by way of kind of like,

consoling her or by way of maybe redirecting

some of the pain she's experiencing

and some of the tensions she was experiencing

when he said, the middleman is a lie just as much as what she was sharing like grieved my heart

What what he said was like okay got my hackles up as they say I was like okay those are, those of them are fighting words. What do you mean?

Because he was in particular, he was coming at the Catholic Church because we have a structure because we have

this thing called divinely given authority to lead and to guide into all truth.
