We are a day away from the first game of the college football playoff quarterfinals.

It's going to be a great round.

Hopefully not as many blowouts as previously, but we'll see. On today's podcast, we're going to take one last look at all four quarterfinals, the Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Fiesta, and Peach Bowl, with the athletics beat riders who boots, whose boots are on the ground at those host sites. We're going to have on Chris Kamrani, who covers Oregon, Seth Emerson, who is chronicling Georgia for us, Justin Williams, who's with Boise State, and Doug Haller, who covers everything, Arizona. They're going to share their insights, X factors, and predictions for each of the New Year's Eve and New Year's Day matchups. But let's start with the Rose Bowl out in Pasadena with Oregon and Ohio State,

But when you look at this Oregon team, what they've done to this point, what they have, the personnel,

the road ahead, does this look like a team that is good enough to go 16 and 0 in your mind? It depends on if you are a believer in the fact that the CFP has no

hand in declaring where their number one overall seed can start their march to perfection.

I understand that, you know, this is going to happen every year, but Oregon did get a tough draw with getting Ohio State in the quarters. And then

potentially if you win, now we're getting ahead of ourselves, you might have to face Texas

and Jerry World and maximize.

But if we're taking a big picture look of how Oregon got here and if they have what it takes,

it's weird to say that it's like a very stout Oregon team, but not necessarily a sexy, like old school Chip Kelly.

Yeah.

It's where like their leading sports center, you know, with these highlight plays.

Now, I say that, like, understanding that their offense is one of the best in the country and has been since Willstein got there.
