Summary

Michael Carrick takes his Manchester United squad to Bournemouth for a Friday night fixture which will be followed by a 23-day break. With a patchy recent record against the Cherries, a win will keep the Champions League charge going during that hiatus.

Will there be a defensive reshuffle? Leny Yoro has regained some form and played very well against Aston Villa, but Lisandro Martinez is expected to be fit and has unique qualities. There's a question mark at right back as well with Noussair Mazraoui, an AFCON champion (for now, at least), pushing for some minutes. Places up front will be interesting, too.

Before that game, there's an FA Youth Cup tie at home to Sunderland. Chris McKenna drops by to discuss that, Andy fills us in on his interview with Steve Torpey, and we round things off with a look at United fans travelling over from the Emerald Isle.

well. He was at the last round in the Youth Cup, and he's also been writing about the pilgrimage that Irish fans make across the Irish Sea to come and watch Manchester United on a regular basis. So there's lots of different things to talk about on that too. How are we all doing, all right? Yeah. Yeah, good. Tired. I used to get in at 8am in the morning and keep going and now I'm podcasting at this time. So this is tough for me. I've got to say. Okay. You're definitely replacing Laurie in every sense and form here, Critch, aren't you? Do you know what I mean? People are even talking about the little glow-up that you had ahead of the video record, which is one of Laurie's little things too. I don't know if we'll be seeing that jacket again, though. I don't think the lighting quite works in that studio. I like the jacket. I like the jacket. It worked. Yeah. Andy, how excited are you for Friday? It's a Friday night, in it? I mean, fair play at a club. I'm going to get on one of them three coaches down and I'm going to stay down there.
