We've done a fantastic job getting us ready for the SEC, which is going to be chaos, to say the least. I think parity really is the word that I use when I'm trying to handicap the SEC this year. I don't know if there is that one dominant team. I know there are a lot of really good football teams. If you had to rank the SEC maybe in a top four, how would you kind of give me your top four in the SEC? Of course, we still got a week until games kickoff. Yeah, the top four is tough. I feel like there's a pretty tight three of Texas, Bam and Georgia. Those are the three ones where you feel fairly confident that they're going to be that. Then that fourth spot, could it be LSU? Are they finally going to turn a corner with Garrett Nussmeyer and Brian Kelly? Or has South Carolina taken that next step with Shane Beamer? And, you know, is Lenora Sellers going to be the elite quarterback everyone's expecting it to be? So it gets kind of, kind of hairy once you get past number three spot, in my opinion.

Christian, want to ask you, it's obviously sticking with the SEC, but you mentioned LSU and you mentioned South Carolina, but another maybe elite, maybe not quarterback that we have to

talk about because I'm pretty sure we're contractually obligated to, but the Archmanning

of it all and Texas. He's your Heisman favorite. Texas is the title

favorite. Are you buying Texas as a contender? Are you buying Arch as a potentially elite

quarterback? Oh, yeah, absolutely. Texas will certainly be in that contender zone. I don't think

it's unfair to buy them for that. And I think Arch is going to be a great quarterback. Arch will

very likely have a great shot of an income in New York. I think where you start to lose me personally is when people try to tell you he's the best quarterback the SEC's ever seen. He's football Jesus reincarnated. Texas is going to be the 2019 LSU Tigers. All of these things that everyone's trying to make it out to be. That's where I'm kind of like, Let's pump the brakes a little bit. To when that happens, people go, oh, you don't believe in arts.

You're a little bit.

To when that happens, people go, oh, you don't believe in Arch, you're a denier. No, that's not it. Arch is going to be a great quarterback in Texas. It's certainly a contender. But I think we need to pump the brakes on how much hype we're giving this situation. It's a great point. And you guys talked about it, I think this week, where the media really is setting him up to be the villain.

And it happens every year, Christian. Like there's always the one player every year that you think, all right, this guy's getting all the love heading into the season. And then the season happens. And it's impossible for that player to live up to the expectations.

Texas's roster outside of Archbanning is absolutely loaded.

It's possible that he ends up not even being the best player on that roster.

That's how good the Texas roster is, but for Arch to play to that level, it's almost impossible.

Yeah, it's almost unfair, and this is why I think you also are running in that situation. I tell people all the time, there's been two prospects since I've been watching sports or had a consciousness about them that I've lived up to the hype, whether it was football, basketball, baseball, in my opinion.

LeBron James and Peyton Manning, those two guys were highly regarded when they came in and they lived up to all the hype. The problem with Arch is he's related to Peyton Manning. So, you know, that Manning on the back of his jersey. I think I told Brooks this off there. If Arch Manning's name was Arch Simpson or Arch Johnson, anything else not Manning, he would be getting a very similar treatment to how Garrett Nussmeyer was getting last year, where it's, hey, this is a guy who's been in a system for a long time,

he's sat on the bench, but he's ready to take a start. We think he's going to be pretty good, but we're not sure yet. It wouldn't be, hold the phone, give Archmanning the Heisman right now, was the number one overall pick in 2026.
