And the moment he was handed a nine-year jail sentence, a sentence he plans to appeal.

But there's still someone we haven't heard from.

The first thing Matthew's mum does is make us a cup of tea.

There's a small, yappy dog racing around the kitchen, gnawing on a chew toy.

I hope that you haven't been anxious about meeting us. I know it's quite stressful.

Yeah. Because we're not bad people. Yeah. I have been anxious because we're not bad people.

Yeah.

We're really not.

We've been through so much.
