Hi, Andy. Hi Brian, how you doing? I'm pretty good and we're going to talk about the dirt on

Netflix but we're going to talk about more than that we're going to talk about the

upcoming Elton John movie which you've seen what about 20 minutes of it and

just the general future of rock and roll in the movies,

because it seems like something's going on.

Yeah, I'm getting the sense that the Queen movie was so massively popular and caused such a huge resurgence in

Queen and got so much interest amongst young people that every big band in the world

now wants to just make a movie. It's the perfect way to get

their careers back on track, to get money flowing again. Absolutely and there's so much

to be said about this which is why I wanted to do the show. One of the things is

I wouldn't be surprised if right now there's a generation of

teenagers who are getting into rock and roll A because of these movies and B are utterly

convinced as of this week that the two most important bands in rock history are Queen and Motley

Crow.

Right, and it's so bizarre the Queen movie that did so well that it won Best Actor, which is insane

to me, meaning I thought that he was good, but the scene that they showed at the Academy Awards is him lip sinking to a Bohemium rap city. It's just sort of ridiculous.

Yeah, Freddie Mercury won Best Actor, basically. Yeah, Mercury one best actor basically. Yeah but I think

Queen are sort of bigger in the States now they've ever been because they weren't

a real American superstar band was always bigger in Europe. Yeah I saw a tweet
