And now we're going to talk to Michael Monks because we've got two LA County supervisors.

And what they care about most today, Janice and Hilda Solis is that ICE agents are wearing masks

when they perform those immigration rates.

That is the most impressive issue that they have on their plates.

Good afternoon to you, John.

And you're right.

And it's not just two anymore.

Two authored this motion of Supervisors Janice

and Hilda Solis, but now four have voted to have this motion pushed through. And that means

county attorneys have been directed to report back within 60 days with a proposed ordinance that

could be adopted. So keep in mind, this is not going to effect right away.

There has to be some legal language and then an actual ordinance drafted that would be voted on.

Within the next couple of months, county officials want to see immigration agents at the federal level removing their mask and more publicly identifying themselves when they show up to execute enforcement directives.
