Summary

The Bible is clear, your marriage and my marriage is a mirror of the Gospel. This idea is clearly explained in Ephesians chapter five; Husbands are to be like Christ in the way He loves the church, and wives are to be like the church in the way they respect and honor Christ. In other words, human marriage is the earthly image of God's divine plan for humanity. So why then is the idea of incompatibility in marriage such a common notion? In this episode, Dale and Veronica will address the idea of incompatibility in marriage and replace this wrong way of thinking with truth from the Bible.

1:06.9	So this idea of compatibility, we are going to just discuss, there's in tons of articles on the internet about
1:15.0	are me and my boyfriend compatible? Or how do we predict compatibility in our marriage success?
1:23.4	Or what makes a marriage compatible? There's these scientific formulas about,
1:30.7	remember that TV show we watched a long time ago that had, you didn't get to see your spouse,
1:35.6	and they did based off these personality assessments and character.
1:40.1	Yeah, I forgot what it was.
1:42.6	90-day fiance or something crazy. I don't know, something weird.
1:46.5	But it was this idea that we're going to scientifically produce a compatible mate for you.
1:53.2	So this idea of compatibility is very popular and it's very alive in culture.
1:58.2	So we're going to dive into that from a biblical perspective shortly, and I think you'll learn that
2:03.7	compatibility and the Bible's perspective is a myth.
