was a great conversation we had dude so fun so i'm grateful to be on your podcast i know it was so fun it's

finally good to get you in here with this.

And I'm so happy you're here. I'm really pumped about this episode too because I feel like the topic and why people are clicking on this specifically is something that just like a lot of people in our generation kind of need to know what it looks like to have godly goals. What's God's will for for our life how do we make sure that the things that

we're doing are not only glorifying god but not distracting us and how do we know that what's on our

heart is from god and not from the devil and so guys we're going to be diving into an incredible

conversation with russellon this is going to be a broad sneak peek into his new book called A Godly Ambition, which I'm super pumped about. I got to listen to some of the audio this morning from the first few chapters and have just been extremely blessed by it. And so if you guys want to pre-order his book, he's got a ton of assets. originally from America. So kind of give us a backstory where you're from, what life was

like growing up, things like that. Yeah, man. So I'm ethnically Armenian, and Armenia is one of

the oldest Christian countries in the world. Like, we didn't have a written language until we developed one to translate the Bible, right, to have a version of the Bible. So you're talking about around 300 AD. Armenia becomes officially a Christian nation is before Rome. It's around the same time as Ethiopia. There is a deep, deep, rich Christian history in

Armenia. But Armenia was a part of the former Soviet Union, which was communism, which was,

you know, we remove God so that the state becomes God. And we are Armenians, my family and I,

but we grew up in Azerbaijan, which is the country just to the east of

Armenia. And Azerbaijan is predominantly a Muslim state, and they were both under the former Soviet

Union, and the Soviet Union, as most superpowers do, drew up these real weird boundaries that
