a daily look at the issues Americans care about most. For decades, farm workers in America's tomato capital of

immokally Florida labored under some of the most horrid conditions in the nation. Today, the worst

abuses there have all but vanished. Thanks to partnerships, the workers have formed with fast food

chains like McDonald's and Taco Bell. Now, a surprising new member is joining up, Walmart.

Can the retail behemoth help improve conditions nationwide, or is it just good PR?

Will it to deal with growers and activists help reduce poverty wages, physical and sexual abuse in the fields?
