What's up Motivators? Today's podcast guest is me again with Jamie Delamore, who is our co-host for today.

And what we're talking about is how to run injury-free. In the last episode, we talked about

0:15.1

how do we run well as we age? Starting at the age of 30, I think we should all be combating the aging

0:22.9

process, be it muscle loss, a slowing down of our fast twitch muscle fibers, a worsening of our

0:30.1

hormones. And a lot of those training methods are related to how we stay injury-free and

0:36.8

continue to layer on good training year

0:39.1

after good training year. Well, today we're specifically talking about what are the factors

0:44.6

that we need to include in our training plans or what are the factors that we need to make

0:48.1

sure we don't have in our training plans that are specifically going to reduce the likelihood

0:53.4

of injury. Now, some of these factors are specifically going to reduce the likelihood of injury.

1:12.7

create a training plan around those couple of things. So I hope that you find this helpful because

1:18.2

frankly, basically as soon as we start getting into our late 20s, injuries start popping up

1:24.7

more and more and more. As co-host Jamie here talks about, he's in his mid-20s

1:29.4

and just now starting to see those instances of, wow, I can't run the same way that I did

1:36.1

as I was younger. And that only gets more and more difficult as we get older. So I think it's

1:40.9

important to understand how do we build a training plan that is going

1:44.6

to be less likely to get us injured so that every single year we can just layer a good year of

1:50.6

training upon a good year of training continuously getting faster even as we age. I hope you
