I'm going to go and I want to start with a question for you. Have you ever tried out for something and had to wait to find out if you got in?

Okay, like you're like in that waiting like I don't know if they've accepted me, I don't know if I'm getting in.

And so maybe it was a date, right? You go on a date and the date's over and he's like I'll call you and you're like okay when when you

like did it go I thought it went well they go well it seemed like it went well

you know or maybe you were you know you went on a date and and you you texted her and it's like, hey, had fun, love to hang out again, and you see those three dots and then they disappear.

And you're like, what's up with that?

Like when and you're waiting to find out if you've been accepted

and maybe it was you know applying for a college, right?

So maybe you apply at your favorite university, you send in your application

to A&M and you're waiting to see if you, whoops, you're waiting to see if you got in or maybe it was

Baylor, right in or maybe it was Baylor right or maybe UT they they accept

everybody they accept everybody and you're you're waiting to find out if you got it, if you got accepted.

Or maybe it was a job interview, right?

You finished the interview, you put on your best, you know, you did everything you could, and you leave and it's just that waiting period.

Was I good enough, did I say the right things? I wonder how many people they're going to take in. Am I going to get in?

Will they accept me? I went to an interview once it was actually for a reality show

called The Apprentice, okay? I don't know if you've heard of The Apprentice, but I

tried out for this. It was in Fort Worth. Tryouts were in Fort Worth, and so my wife and I go out

there is a while ago long before ministry and or a little

bit before ministry and so that's why I'm in ministry and so I go out there to Fort

Worth and there's thousands and thousands of people trying
