Hi Joel and Antonia, I have a question regarding the influence of cognitive functions that

are not in our stack.

I'm an INFJ and I have discussions with my INFP boyfriend concerning the influence of

our childhood and our past on our decision making today.

I am assuming here that childhood and past belongs to introverted sensing.

He tends to put a lot of emphasis on childhood and past and he's very aware of it and focused

on it, whereas I have a lot of trouble resonating with that to the point of saying that it

actually doesn't really influence me that much.

And I also hear in your podcasts because both of you are ENPs, you talk about the subject

as well.

So my question is for people who don't have introverted sensing in their stacks, is it

that we're simply not aware of how it plays a role or is it actually that it doesn't

play as much of a role in our motivations?
