Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. I hope you're ready to

get your mind aligned with the truth of God. The reason I say that so much is because it's so true. It's a need we have that goes very deep.

Because we leak overnight. We leak things like hope, truth, identity, understanding of what God has done for us and how much

he loves us. Those things leak out as we rest overnight and we need to refill our minds and align ourselves with God's truth.

That is the point of the morning mindset.

So I welcome you.

I hope you're ready.

Let's take that deep breath and just set aside everything else get ourselves ready to focus on the

word of God. We're going to look at Romans chapter 8 today and we're getting into

some of the most glorious encouraging awe-inspiring

passages in all of scripture. Romans chapter 8. Paul is posing all kinds of

questions here at the end of the chapter to drive home his point

that he's been making in the entire chapter in fact in the entire book. Romans

chapter 8 he has walked through all the things that God has done through Jesus Christ to give

us measly human beings a way out of sin and pain and regret and guilt and he's done it all through his son Jesus

whom he sent to die on the cross in our place. He took the punishment that we should have taken for our sin

so that we can be forgiven and we receive that forgiveness by placing our trust in Jesus actions on the cross.

We say yes what he did for me is enough and I receive it in my place gladly. so what Paul is doing here at the end of Romans 8 is he

saying if you have done that, if you've received that forgiveness, there are many things that are true about you now and are true in your case.

Now he's going to ask the question, who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

This is Romans 835.

And then he's going to give us this long list of possibilities.
