Let's begin. Let's begin indeed. And as we've got a relatively short time, I hope

Professor Sachs won't mind if we plunge straight in, because it seems to me that Biden's policy

is what ultimately lies behind the campus protests. And I, of course, my memory extends back to the 60s and early 70s. I can

remember when young people in the United States and the universities came out to protest,

another war, which the United States had been drawn into. We know about the cynicism and

corruption of decision making that led to that particular

war. I'm of course referring to Vietnam. I remember all the protests then. I have memories of what

happened at Ken State. It's starting to look a little like that again.
