He's pastor of University of Lutheran Chapel in Champaign, Illinois. Michael, welcome back. It's good to be here. Thanks for having me. What theologically distinguishes campus ministry from just a Lutheran congregation near a college or a university? Yeah, the most distinguishing factor probably has to do with the fact that it's mostly ministry to a group of people who are in a state of transition.

So obviously we're still preaching the gospel, teaching the whole Word of God, administering the sacraments to the

people who need to receive those gifts of Christ. But they are, they're not settled, right? They come to

college, they're learning here. Obviously, all kinds of questions come up in their life as they

encounter new information,

but they're here for a time and then moving on. So it's kind of an ongoing management of

their faith through a transition. That's kind of the core aspect of campus ministry.
