Good morning. It is Saturday, October the 12th, with 24 days until Election Day, the presidential

race has turned into a blitz. Some of the biggest names in the Democratic Party are now hitting

the campaign trail to give Kamala Harris's candidacy another boost of support. At an event on Thursday, the former president, Barack Obama,

gave a rousing speech in Pittsburgh imploring Pennsylvanians not to sit out this year's election.

Afterwards, he stopped at a nearby campaign office where he spoke with staffers about the

challenges of getting

men, especially black men, to go out and vote this time. That's a challenge that Harris's running

mate. Tim Walls will also be confronting head on in the final weeks of the race in hopes of closing

the wide gender gap that could be a decisive factor in this election. Additionally, First Lady Jill Biden will stump

for Harris in Arizona today. Former President Bill Clinton will rally voters in Georgia on Sunday and

Monday. Meanwhile, Donald Trump's got other plans. While Harris and her surrogates target swing

states in the final weeks, the Republican nominee has added some unorthodox stops

to his schedule this month, including an event at the Economic Club of Chicago next Tuesday and a rally

at Madison Square Garden in New York on October the 27th. Later today, the former president will be

at Coachella, a town located in the California desert. Yesterday, he held an event in the state of Colorado.

These are all events in solidly blue states that Trump lost by big margins in both 2016 and

2020 states he's certain to lose again this year.

So the question is why?

Why is he spending time during the last weeks of a tight presidential race in places where
