Danny is here got a catch up on some news

You talked a little bit in the overrunners, but it got some stuff that we couldn't really fit in there very well

And then we want to talk about our breakout and regression candidates for this year and finally get to our best bets

Which we didn't have a chance to do yet on the overrunner podcast. So Danny, what do we got here for news?

Well, I think the place to start is not with something that happened recently

But something that is important which is Philly finally replacing Brian Klanjolo and hiring Elton Brand as their general manager

And it seems like he's pretty closely connected with Brett Brown

And so I've heard speculation that Brown will still have a pretty significant voice in the process

That is something that some coaches have and some coaches do not have but Philly, Delphi, because they basically rolled over their space the next year

Talent evaluation recruitment all of that is incredibly important because they are a team with an incredibly high ceiling

And so what they do with the space they have and who they prioritize in the draft everything else is is big for the leak

Yeah, they have that asset as well going forward that 2021 by Emmy

Unprotected pick that looks like it might be kind of juicy

They're always in the market to try and add another star as well

So yeah, this is one of the premier GM spots in the league and it was a meandering search to say the least

To the extent that you can meander when you don't actually interview that many people for a very long time

There's really no understanding of why they didn't interview people on other teams until the very end of this process

It seemed like there wasn't necessarily a huge push to do that

Then there was speculation that we're gonna kind of go into the season with the status quo
