One record that scored the major events of Bob's adult life was so obscure that it set in motion his collecting obsession some 35 years ago.

In May of 1985, on the verge of his 25th birthday, a young Bob Purse was looking for what was next in his life.

My future was staring me in the face, and I didn't know exactly what I was going to do.

I had an off-again-on-again relationship with college, and I was just a week or two away from graduating with my bachelor's degree in human services and intended to find a job working with children.
