Today's check-in is brought to you by Lakeinta by Wyndham. We now welcome in Yankees pitcher, Cam Schlittler. He is among the early leaders in the American League Cyang Award in his first 14 star to 1-870RA, and he leads all AAL pitchers in war. Camp, thanks for joining us. Yeah, thanks for having me. All right, I had a conversation recently with your manager, Aaron Boone, in which he said that you really welcome feedback. And he talked about how you could be really self-deprecating and kind of brutal on yourself. Where does that come from? I don't know. I think it's just kind of a mentality. You know, you get up here, you got a lot of guys that, you know, have a lot of experience and kind of just from high school and college as well, just being able to, you know, handle that criticism and, you know, if it's needed, try to make adjustments off that. So the best way to learn is, you know, through the experience of others. So that's what I've tried to do since, you know, been drafted by the Yankees in 22. What I'll always remember about you is I was working the sideline of that game you pitch against the Red Sox in the playoffs last year, eight scoreless innings, no walks, 12 strikeouts.
