Down in Jackson, you know, taking out the jaguar day open up training camp

on wednesday so i had to come down to see what's going on what um what's the temperature like down

there uh DJ I am I am not Florida ready it was like 90 and sweltering the first day I was like

who had to take me but I was seeing this, Leon Cohen to his credit.

Practice starts early.

First day, 8.30, off to field by 10.

My kind of practice.

Next day, 8.30 off by 10, 15.

Short and sweet.

Getting to it.

The one thing that they did that was a little different.

They got to the 11 on 11 stuff fairly quickly as opposed to to doing some teams like easing to it with a lot of into one-on-one stuff. They were getting more to the team periods trying to get those reps in. That's good. I was just in Nashville for a couple days. I'm going back this weekend, so I'll be there Saturday. But you're right on just the, man, the South is no joke this time of year. It is a reminder. And the one thing for those that don't know, in California, when the sun goes down, it gets cool. Like you might be, you might have a hot day, which is maybe high 80s. Maybe we sneak into the low 90s, but at nighttime, it's 50 degrees. You can wait it out. You can wait it out. I mean, I walked outside and it was dark outside in Nashville and it was like just

stepping right into a sauna, man. I was like, man, I forgot about this. It's no joke. DJ, it never changes. And I'm sitting here and I'm laughing because like the Jags are practicing in the morning. But I'm thinking about all those years in high school where we went from through 30 to whatever.

I'm like, man, what are we doing?

Then I'm thinking about all those teams, those SEC teams that are, oh, man, we're going from two to five.
