that I need to get off my chest.

All right. have a lot of football still in it. I need to spend just a few minutes on this because there's some intrigue.

Cam Newton on his Instagram, of course, with the video yesterday for his funky Friday

show, funky, says he's got some things to get off his chest. We haven't really heard from him since he got dumped by the Patriots over a week ago. We got Mazz and Adam Jones in for Big Jim Murray again, who's down in Tampa tonight. Any developing opinions on this? What do you think we're going to hear? What should we hear, et cetera? So my one hope is that it's not a complete dud. I hope there's just, give me something. even if it's little, I'll take it. That, yeah, we, you know, I went on an appointment that they didn't think I was going on, or just give me something, or something about how he feels about his release, I was unhappy. If we get just happy horse crap and no real info and all it is is him saying, you know, I'm going to still play football. Forget it. I'm not interested. Don't give me just some fluff and some bull crap. I fear that it's going to be that, though. My guess is it will be. Go ahead. I think he's going to reveal something. He said he's got something to get off his chest and he hasn't exactly been gun shy about shifting the blame

off of himself in his career like curran made this point on NBC Sports Boston I thought it was a good

one like he's blamed COVID he blamed the offseason and lack of training time last year yeah

he blamed the weapons around him like he's not afraid to shift the blame off of himself. And I don't know.

If I'm Cam Newton, I look up at the end of the last year and I go, well, where did sucking up to Bill Belichick get me? It got me cut. So I don't know. I might air some dirty laundry if I think it's going to get me a job somewhere else or help explain what went down in New England because Lord knows the Patriots aren't going to explain it. So I can feel you on that, Jones.

I hope he feels that way.
