Hello, ho, ho! Here's an important message from Network Rail for anyone who's travelling by train this Christmas and New Year.

We'll be working over the festive period to make improvements to the railway. Most of the network remains open, but some train services will be affected from Sunday the 25th of December until Monday the 2nd of January.

I found this topic on one of those top 10 style articles and thought there had to be more to it than the sensational headline and no surprise there was.

And it's something we really do need to think about in regards to how we handle the intersection of crime and mental illness which is an intersection that we as a society are at more often than we want to acknowledge.

This case begins in Germany in 1987 Julie powers was stationed there as a Russian linguist as a military intelligence officer.

She would basically speak with defectors from the Soviet Union with the intent of getting intel from them.

While stationed in Germany she started a volleyball program for the officers and she also acted as the coach.
