I stopped in my going through the Calvinistic proof texts. Some of you may remember this particular meme that came up on Twitter not long ago

that has the five points of Calvinism listed there, the T-U-L-I-P.

And I went through the T and the U, link in the show notes.

If you want to go look for those proof text from the Calvinistic vantage point,

and I just go through fairly quickly.

I have to go fairly quickly through these to get through them all.

But I walk through each of those.

Today, you'll notice we're doing the I, Irresistible Grace,

and so you may think, why are you skipping the L?

Well, several reasons. One, I don't think the L is a major point of contention for several

reasons, because even reformers like Calvin himself, arguably, did not believe in a limited extent

of the atonement. They believed in a actual sufficiency
