Welcome to Sochiology 101 live. As you can see, we have a guest with us today. This is Louis Regerio. He is a layman, but who is self-taught and is a theology geek like many of us who tune in to these hour-long videos. He's the kind of guy that has a lot of theology books and things that he's if he probably went to school

he probably have three or four degrees because the theology geeks like him end up studying as

much as those of us who went to seminary in a lot of ways but he's also got five books one of

which I want to mention but first welcome Lewis appreciate you coming on to the program

thank you dr. Flowers Thanks for having me.

Well, I want to point out the book that you have here so that people can see it.

You can find it there on Amazon, the God of Calvinism, a rebuttal of reform theology.

Tell us a little bit about that book.

Why did you write it?

What brought that to pass?

Well, I started studying the Bible about

30 years ago and 10 years into my study, I was on a Palt Talk forum, a chat forum, and I heard about

Calvinism. And Calvinism kind of surprised me because the guard that Calvinism describes

isn't the guard that I've been taught in the Bible.

So Dr. James White decided to join the Paltar Forum, and I confronted him with some issues that he was trying to promote,

and he challenged me to debate John 6.

That was back in 1993, 2003 believe, in 2003. It was back in 2003. And I answered

his challenge. And the whole debate prompted me to delve into Calvinism even further.

And eventually, I wrote the book. The book was published back in 2010.

Well, I have not read the book yet, so I can't give a hearty endorsement yet, but my

experience with you so far, Lewis, is to listen to most of the debate that you had with

Sonny Hernandez. And that's how I was introduced to you through that debate.
