0:00.0 | Hello and welcome back to Sociology 101. |
0:11.6 | Recently, someone sent me a link to this clip from Wretched Radio, |
0:16.5 | a Calvinistic brother who does all kinds of programs and all different kinds of subjects. |
0:21.8 | And he's playing a clip, an old clip from Dr. John MacArthur, who is addressing the controversy |
0:28.0 | of Calvinism versus Armenianism. Of course, this is usually the dichotomy that's been set up. |
0:32.9 | It's either Calvinist or Armenian. You have to be in one of the other two camps in the mind |

0:42.3 | Armenian, though we may side with them on sociological issues for the most part. |
0:47.3 | But we have some differing of opinions from our Armenian friends. |
0:51.3 | We have articles there at Sociology 101 to tell you a little bit more about why we don't refer |
0:55.5 | to ourselves as Armenians or as Calvinist, |
0:58.1 | or as two-point Calvinist, or three-point Calvinist, |

1:06.3 | I want you to notice a couple of things. |
1:08.3 | Notice first and foremost that he front end loads Calvinism. |
1:11.5 | In other words, he brings the presupposition of, well, Calvinism is obviously true, but then |
1:15.9 | there's all these other controversial statements that make it seem like Calvinism might not be |
1:20.2 | true, but we just have to punt to mystery because we just have to accept that Calvinism is true. |
1:26.3 | That's ultimately what this speech is. |
1:28.4 | But I want you to hear it for yourself as we can interact with it and listen to the introduction |
1:32.4 | from a fellow Calvinist saying, hey, this is how we should handle this controversy. |
