Since the 5th century when St. Augustine, a former Manichean convert from Africa, introduced theistic determinism into the church, many Christian theologians have attempted to eradicate these gnostic sounding doctrines altogether. All have failed--until now! What Flowers and many other theologians and pastors have attempted to do for 1500 years was accomplished this week in about 15 minutes on Twitter by Seth Dillon of the Babylon Bee. Reports say that John's Piper and MacArthur, along with all Christian theologians named John, will be appearing in a live news briefing later today in Geneva Switzerland to announce their recantation of all things Calvinistic, while symbolically snipping the stem of a tulip with a large pair of scissors.
