I thought the more interesting proposal, which would affect the commanders is the proposal

to not just go, you win your division, you're one of the top four seeds.

So the commanders who did not win the NFC East, of course, were the sixth seed last year,

but they could have had an improved seed based on record.

and seeds all seven playoff participants based on record.
