I'm Scramed Hey friends, welcome back to another episode of Truth Talks with Tara, where we love to know God's word, love God's word, and live God's word in our everyday lives, whether you're a mom, a wife, a student, a ministry leader,

and we're actually talking about a little bit more of our ministry things, leaders, whatever,

wherever you come to the table here, whether you're in vocational ministry, volunteer,

we want to speak to those people today and just kind of give you some encouragement.

As I was preparing for this episode for this interview,

it was like, it was really burdened to talk to the leaders that also feel a little weary, feel a little tired. And we have some awesome guests that are coming on the show. Today, we have Peter and we have Jill. And they have teamed up to write an incredible book for you guys. But before we get into that, I would love for them to introduce themselves to you. Peter, do you want to kick us off and just tell us a little bit about who you are, what you do?

And then I also want to hear a thing you're loving in your life. And I always tell my guess that it

can be anything from something on your desk to in your Amazon cart to a theology read, like literally

anything.

Right. That's a fun question. And yeah, so Peter Greer, I live in Lancaster, Pennsylvania,

married to Laurel for 25 years. We have four kids, two in high school, two launched.

And the work of Hope International is we invest in the dreams of families and the world's

underserved communities as we proclaim and live the gospel. So we use microenterprice development

and savings groups to invest in entrepreneurs and support churches in countries all around the

world. So in addition to that, we love writing books.

And the first thing that came to mind when you said something that you love,

maybe this is just because we're having this conversation, but I don't think so.

Tara, I love researching topics, diving into a question and doing it alongside my friend and co-author

Jill.

It continues to be something that brings great joy and delight to learn together and to hopefully

write in a way that helps others on their journeys as well.
