Yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed your take last night on BST regarding the Patriots rookie numbers. What's the point of assigning every rookie number in the 50s? If you remember a few years ago, of Mack Jones and his rookie, he wore number 50. It's just another one of Bill's things that he got from Parcells. If you remember when he coached the Cowboys, he won't let the rookies have the star in their helmet and said they had to earn it. They wanted to just let them practice in their underwear. They could earn their clothes and pads. It's ridiculous. Thanks. Just to reset, you know, what's bugging you was my thing I came up with last night was yesterday the Patriots issued the official numbers for their rookies. So like, for example, Christian Gonzalez is number six. In training camp, they give them all sorts of fussy numbers. Correct. So Gonzalez was like 50. And you know, Mac Jones was 50 something. Yeah, yeah. And so what's the point of giving him those funny numbers in camp?

It's like teach him a lesson, like you're just another number kid.

Or to confuse the media for a day or like what?

Like what is really the point of that?

And whatever it is, it's probably a waste of your time.
