I think that his approach made logical sense, not emotional sense. I think he signed some guys for

two-year contracts this year and next. They're almost making the playoffs this year. They're probably

going to be in contention next year for the playoffs with their farm system, which is great. You're not mortgaging the future. And you've got guys coming back off the injury. They were one game out at the trade deadline. Brian, can I stop you? So anyone who made a trade this year mortgaged their future? No, that's not necessarily true.

Okay, but you're saying that anything they would have done would have mortgaged the future.

It's such a cliche.

And it's such an overstatement.

Trading the Philadelphia Phillies trading their eighth prospect on their list.

For a guy who just threw a no-hitter, are they mortgage their future?

No.

So, like, why? So what, so what, so you overstated intentionally to, to, I don't know, support Hein Bloom, which I just think is ridiculous. Okay. Well, I mean, that, that's my take. I mean, that's what you do to, you know, to obfuscate the things like, any trade you make is mortgaging the future. It's preposterous. Yeah, again, and it presumes that every prospect or minor leaguer in your system is a guy who's untradable. What, there aren't guys on that list that you could move? There are always identify your top 10, 15 players. Trade the last five. You know who's been great at it? Dumbrosky.
