On the last show I asked you especially those of you who voted for Trump and against

Biden to tell me what you think Biden can do to help

heal the nation what Biden can do to convince you that he really means it when

he says he wants to bring us together and boy did I get

your responses.

I would say the vast majority of them basically said there's nothing

nothing we can do we're so divided some of you said let's end the

impeachment because that will further divide the country and of course breaking news this morning is that

Speaker of the House Pelosi has now announced that she will rush the trial in the Senate by

sending the article of impeachment over on Monday which by law requires that the Senate begin its trial on a Tuesday, giving the

president no real opportunity to prepare defense. I know that he is trying to assemble a legal team. I'm not

going to be part of the legal team this time, though I strongly believe that it's unconstitutional

to try a former president in front of the United States Senate.

But there's a lot of business to be done

before a trial in addition to preparation and deciding who the legal team would be

and having the people from the house prepare their presentation which I

guess they've been doing. The first question is who presides over the

trial. The Constitution is very clear. is
