Mets lose again. Francisco Lindor in the crosshairs. Carlos Mendoza in the crosshairs. So that's going to be

the story until they figure out a way to turn it around. Of course, they're not going to play

today or tonight as they go out to Chicago for a three game set over the weekend before

coming back home to face the twins starting on Tuesday. So things have to turn

around quick or there's going to be some. There has to be. There had to be something or has to be

something that changes and in a major, major way. All right, let's go to Vinnie and Staten Island.

So the frustrations, like, with the Mets is, you know, obviously we all have it. But as far as

Mendoza, I just can't watch the same mistakes this guy makes over and over and over again.

And the whole speculation with Lindor and Soto, he still hasn't put an end to that story

in any way, you know, sit them down, talk, whatever, with the media.

And I think he's, I don't feel like he's a motivator.

People defend him for 24.

J.D. Martinez and Iglesias are not walking through that door this year to change the clubhouse

and change the feel around the team.

So I just don't think that this guy is the right manager for this team.

But who would be?

I mean, the obvious answer that everybody would want and I would want is Beltron, but I don't see them doing that mid-season.

I feel like that's a guy that walks in and with the players they have.

He commands their respect because of the level of play he had in this town.

Yeah, you know, Vinnie, I would not be opposed to that.

And I do hate talking about it because I really, it's not, does it all land at the feet of Carlos Mendoza.
