collectively last year was a complete overperformance by a few players, especially Grisham.

I think their bullpen is going to be outside of Bedrard. We saw last year, Doval,

he was horrible. Every time he came to the game, he blew the game. What about Wethers crews though there are other there are other guys on this team though that i think are going to be pretty damn good you know it's amazing i we were just talking about the yankees just to kind of give like our thoughts about the upcoming season and i told you it was going to be trent grisham and bolp yes you did so here's our first call oh it's yeah i mean boleber you I know, but I Yes, you did. You hit it. I know, but I actually, you know, those players, and I understand that people aren't Christian fans, but he's a good defensive player, and he got off to a great start last year. Yeah. I just want to ask, Drew, what would he consider a bad season? Like, how many wins? What do you like? How many wins do you think the Yankees have this year? I think they're going to be 8. 82 and 20 or 80. Wow. Drew then you know what? Bet the house on the under because I don't see it. I really don't. I think this team is going to be really, really good to share. So you and I are both Ranger fans. Yeah. We had kind of high hopes coming into the season. I don't know about high, not what it turned out to me.

We knew there was a lot of turnover just simply because of the way that Chris Drewers managed the roster and he got rid of one of our favorite players, Chris Kreider. Right. So we weren't really expected. We didn't feel the wins of a championship at our back. Not a championship, but I hoped, hey, new head coach, you get the stink of last year off for you. You know, let's see. Let's see what happens. The point being is that our expectations were somewhat tempered, I would say. Now, you're a Yankee fan. I'm not. You're a Yankee fan. I'm not. I'm a MEP. I think we're going to have a good team this year. I think the Mets are going to have a good team this year. And I like what David Stearns did this offseason.

You're a Yanky fan. Are you like Drew? Are you a downer like Drew? I'm not a downer. I'm, I think, a realist, as I often am, Switzerland, right? I expect that they'll have another really solid regular season, assuming nothing drastic like

Judge misses three quarters of the year.

And you get into the postseason and then you take your shot.

I agree with that.

But he always adds somebody at the trade deadline.

Now, I mean, those moves are generally hit or miss, you know?

Like everyone gets excited for it.

I understand why.

But it's not the easiest thing to add guys on the fly and then have them really turn into major difference makers. There are examples of it, but I think if this, big if, if this team is healthy, I think this team wins the ALEs. Sure. I don't want to say easy because Toronto's very good. I think they win the ALE East. I think that changes the equation in the postseason. I suppose. I mean, look, once the postseason rolls around, it's just the reality of it is, anything can happen. I hate to go back to the cliches, but it's been proven time and time again. I think that's why these teams, and was it Steve Cohen that even alluded to it recently? I think when he spoke to the media. Want to get in every year and have a chance.

And they haven't done that consistently. That's kind of where we're right. I know the Dodgers maybe are the one exception to that in recent years. But even they didn't have a great regular. And should have lost the World Series. There were points during the regular season last year. They were not great. No, they had a mid-season slump pretty good.
