Maybe get into the Kaepernick thing a little bit. Maybe get into the James Wiseman thing at Memphis a little bit. We got a lot, sort of a po-pery, if you will, of sports topics today,

which I'm going to hit and Aaron's going to join in on. But before the show started just moments

ago, I asked Aaron to pull two of the Bill Callahan soundbites from the Monday

press conference that he held, because I wanted to talk a little bit more about those two.

And in the process of listening to those two, he played a soundbite for me that I don't think

I had heard yet from Monday's press conference because I did not

listen to it live. I sort of read the transcript and then went back and told, you know, Greg

and then Aaron to get the sound bites that I wanted. But I want to start the show with this

particular soundbite from the Monday Bill Callahan press conference.

He was answering the following question.

The question being, are you simplifying the offense for Dwayne Haskins?

This is what he said.

Well, there's an initial core concept that we feature week in and week out,

and then we branch off situationally.

I mentioned to you guys the other day, I mean, the focus that we put in practice on Wednesday,

part of Kela and the South Scout was all third down and red zone oriented. So we felt like

we got a day better in those areas we implemented some new things some new

protections some new routes some new formations take advantage of coverage we've got

some extensive work in not only against the things that were problematic for

us but we also had two bonus days in a sense a day against the jets in the red zone on Wednesday

and another day today, you know, working against the jet defense.
