I'll also ask, should New Jersey and other blue states get even more aggressive about partisan

redistricting after the Supreme Court decision last week further enabling that, Governor Cheryl

says she's open to trying to box out some of the three

Welcome back to WNYC. Yeah, good morning, Brian. Let's start with a war. President Trump announced a plan

for the U.S. to provide military escorts to oil tankers and other commercial ships to allow them to go through the

Strait of Hormuz.

Then last night, after just one day, he paused that mission, saying it's because of progress

and peace talks with Iran.

Do you buy that that's the reason?

No, no, I definitely don't.

I mean, let's just take a step back and just see how much of a mess this is.

I mean, we are having a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, our own service members, 15,000 service members were attached to that operation that you were talking about to escort and support commercial vessels going through

the stray. By the way, the vast majority of those are not American vessels. So again, our service

members put in harm's way because of these problems. Remember, this is not a problem that we had
