When we say, show me a sign, my question is who are we talking to exactly?

Because I don't think people really think about that.

Probably some iteration of God, the universe, nature, some higher intelligence that we'd like to think or hope is organizing the things that are coming into our lives and playing out karmic debts and making sure that we're

protected and all of this. So then the next question, as we sort of work through this line of thinking,

where does that intelligence stop and start? In other words, is it the water and you're the fish?

And so it starts at your skin and it extends out beyond you to everything else?

Or maybe is it possible that it includes you?

In other words, are you a part of the intelligence?

Are you a part of nature or the universe that we are appealing to for a sign?

So the spiritual perspective is that everything that exists,

including ourselves, all emerges from the same one thing. It's all a part of the same consciousness.

So when we're thinking of nature, when we're thinking of a higher intelligence, from that spiritual

perspective, from that 30,000 foot view, we don't want to

exclude ourselves from the equation. We are very much a part of the equation. And it's not enough

just to understand it. We really want to get to a point in our practice where we feel like we

embody it. When we start to understand it, it's just the intellectual concept, which is only as useful as

things appear to go your way when you have money in your bank and food in your belly and comfort

and all of this, that's where people get on and talk about abundance and you have to be abundance-minded

and I believe the whole time. And they try to sound like there's something special about the way they approached life

or this particular project or this particular relationship and they were blessed by God for

having a certain approach and then you should have that approach if you want to buy my course
