This week we have a cruise review of Icon of the Seas from our very own Colista who recently went on Icon for her first time and it gives us an opportunity to review the ship a couple months after she debuted.

Icon of the Seas is Royal Caribbean's the newest cruise ship, and I've sailed on Icon and absolutely fell in love.

But I was curious how other people really think about icon of the seas.

And now that Icon has been out for a couple of months now, I wanted my

staff to be able to check it out and joining me on today's podcast episode. And I believe this is

your podcast debut is Colista Kuyper, who's one of our writers at real herbian blog.com.

Absolutely.

I was jealous that you got to go on icon again, or you go to an icon, not again,

but just the fact you were an icon, I wasn't, but it looked like you had an awesome time.

And, you know, Colista, you've cruised a fair amount in your short tenure here already.

You've been on a variety of different

ships, different classes. Before you even stepped on an icon, you certainly were aware of the ship

because obviously this is your job and you follow these kind of things. What were your expectations?

Like, what was your thoughts about icon going into the cruise? To be honest, I've heard,

obviously, a lot of great things about it, but I didn't know how much was the marketing and how much was accurate.

So since I've already been on two oasis class ships, I kind of assumed it would feel like that, just like a big oasis class ship with a lot of amenities and a lot of crowds.

Yeah, and I think it's a fair assessment to make because a lot of people,

especially I think they obviously, you can't help but compare to other ships.
