0:12.1	And you probably didn't see this all over the news because it's not the sort of thing that the mainstream media likes to report on.
0:18.1	But some people did stick up, Tucker Carlson and others, to report on a story of a
0:22.9	school teacher in California who was essentially fired from her job. And the reason why is because
0:31.5	the school couldn't, quote, accommodate her religious beliefs. So what exactly was she doing?

0:37.7	proselytizing kids on the playground or something like that? No, no, no. She had taken the very
0:43.8	bold stand of saying as a teacher that teaches a number of topics, but also teaches Jim, I'm not
0:51.1	going to allow boys to come in and use the showers when the girls
0:54.5	are in there. I'm not going to do that. And oh, by the way, if a student's transitioning, I'm not going
0:59.7	to deliberately hide that information from parents. Those positions, positions like that were the
1:06.2	reason why the school decided that they couldn't, quote, accommodate her religious views and summarily
1:12.0	fired her. And so today we're very happy to have with us, Jessica Tapia, the teacher who was
1:18.8	fired from the school district, along with Mariah Gundaro, who is also her attorney because
1:23.7	there is an ongoing lawsuit. And thank you both for being here today. I really appreciate it.
