I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute. California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a big reward to help solve some of the Golden State's most puzzling cold cases.

16-year-old Antonio Nunez was found fatally shot outside his Oakland home in 2019 by an unknown gunman.

In 2018, 28-year-old Arthur Jordan, who worked as a barber at his family business was fatally shot in San Diego while sitting in a car. Newsom is now offering $50,000 for information in solving those cases.

In his announcement, the governor also announced three people who provided information to help

solve the murder of 14-year-old Deanna Lynn Johnson in Solano County were awarded $50,000

themselves. Johnson's friends last saw her alive November 4, 1982 at a house party.

The next day, her body was found on the train tracks.

She was strangled and bludgeoned.

More than 40 years after her murder, her killer, Marvin Markle was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in March.

Markle was 17 at the time, and a guest at the house party, he was arrested in 2017.
