Hi.

Your story is something I want to start with because when I was, you know, your, your site bio and all these things, the thing that jumped out at me was kind of like

the persistence of your story when you were going to Nashville.

And I think it's just a, even if somebody's not a songwriter or an artist and they're

just listening because they're fans of music or whatever, can you give us a little bit of

what was the impetus to say, I'm doing this, I'm making the 14-hour drives to Nashville

from Minnesota, and I'm going to keep doing it.

And I'm not going to take no for an

answer and kind of how that built to where you are now. I think I got my great-grandfather's

stubborn gene for sure. And I just never have taken no for an answer.

But, you know, I first came to Nashville.

My mom drove me down here when I was 16, and I just fell in love with Music City.

And, you know, I also learned on that first trip that songwriting was a job that you could have.

That like, and I just, my mind was blown because for me that was like, oh, this is a perfect plan B.

Like, well, I figure out what I want to do as an artist and what I want to say as an artist.

Like, I can try and get a publishing deal and write songs.

That's fun. Um,

and so, you know, I, I just started to take trips because, you know, I only knew like one person
