This is the alternative version of We Can Be Weirdos, where we put down the bat shit list,

and we just chat to someone who is doing

interesting stuff out there in the world that I feel you should all know about. I've got a few

minutes before she arrives at the cafe. I'm just sitting around reading books. I'm reading

fleas autobiography from the Red Hot Chili Peppers at the moment. It's a brilliant book. I just love

his mystical ways, his connection with music. There's a great little exorcist story in it where

he's in a cinema and it's getting too intense for him. And so he's sort of going into himself

and this woman sits next to him and she just puts a coat over his head and he stays under

it. He doesn't know who she is and he stays under it until the moments of gore have passed and then

she takes it back off and doesn't say a word. Years later, he's telling that story to Anthony Kedas,

who he didn't know at the time when the movie was out,

and who also lived in the same area of LA. And Kitas said, the exact same thing happened to me.

Got to a scary bit, it was too intense, and suddenly this coat just goes over my head from this

random woman. So, apparently, there was just a lady who wanted to protect the children who were sneaking

in to see the exorcist on their own from all these bits by looking out for them and

chucking a coat over their head at the right moments.

Pretty great.
