This week we have a busy docket on the Cafe Insider podcast.

The January 6th Committee released its final report,

and I think it will be viewed by different people in different ways

And ultimately, assuming everything goes okay, and we're still around,

Having now seen the full report, I still stand by the proposition

Again, not by a lot, I think it's maybe overstated on both sides.

It would have been better for the Committee not to make specific criminal referrals.

If you have this whole group of people persistently taking the fifth,

then I think that at some level, that's like waving a red flag

to the Justice Department saying, hey, they don't get to assert the fifth amendment,

and then that's it. It's over. They walk away with no consequence.
