You want to be here on this podcast to talk about the utterly necessary subject of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the chicken wing controversy.

Yes, please.

The New York's governor took to the podium again yesterday to launch into a exposition on the very important subject of the calories that you have to consume to constitute a meal.

Therefore, meeting his subjective requirements for what the threshold at which point you can be allowed to consume alcohol in public based on the governor's personal assessment of what constitutes nutritional value.

I went on this bizarre rant about how chicken wings, for example, don't constitute a substantive meal.

And then he started talking about how the general, the bare minimum threshold for nutritional value and a meal would be a sandwich.

And so he's like establishing these ground rules for where you could be served alcohol.

First of all, it's completely insane. Second, it's anti-American.

If you acquies around, I mean like culturally, not legally.

If you acquies around, you should be hauled before the committee.

The notion that wings and a beer does not constitute a meal is bizarre.

I mean, that is the essential bar tab.

There is no more exemplar bar tab that you can order.

Like, what do you get at a bar? You should say wings and a beer.

It's the kind of thing that you would say to a checkpoint guard to say that you're not a Soviet spy in disguise.

The notion that he actually has thoughts on this is absurd.

He didn't start thinking about this until this week, much less deciding to issue and eat it around it.

And the only reason is because bars across New York State were making fun of the governor in print.
