Sources tell me that Detroit Piston superstar Kate Cunningham has been diagnosed with a mild collapsed lung and he's expected to miss an extended period of time. The pitts are not quite sure exactly how long could be could it be a period of weeks., the playoffs are about a month away.

There is some optimism that he's going to be back for the playoffs,

but this is a situation now, an injury that he's going to be fighting,

rehabbing the pistons, their doctors, their medical staff.

They're all going to work together to get more information in the next few days as far as treatment and potential recovery

here.

So, look, I started to feel this way a little bit last night anyway, and I'll get to that in a second. But when the, you know, one of the other chief contenders in the conference has what I would call an odd injury. I mean, don't you know how it happened? So apparently he was diving for a ball or something on the floor. Is there a clip of the play? Did he come out of the game, et cetera? So that I have not seen yet.

And the story I read that's, I thought it said that he was diving for a ball. And they think that that's when it happened. And I would just say, that happens all the time and guys don't collapse lungs. Have you ever heard of the injury in basketball period? No, I can't say.ly unusual, which suggests to me that maybe there was some

sort of pre-existing thing going on there. And then if it did happen in that sort of play,

that something exacerbated it or, you know, not collapsed. Yeah, exactly. Irritated it. I can't,

I can't necessarily give me the, you know, I'm not a doctor. So listen, I hate inside jokes.
