Today we're going to be talking about talent agents.

And if you ever watch Entourage or Call My Agent on Netflix, you know that for most talented

people, actors, directors, writers, there is a guy or girl behind the guy, behind the girl.

The person who pulls the strings, who does the deals, who guides these people on their

careers. And it's often a cutthroat, kill or be killed business. This past week, we had some

interesting news. CAA, which is now the largest talent agency in Hollywood, paid $750 million

for ICM, which was a powerhouse, but had been the fourth biggest talent agency in town.

And it creates what is essentially a big three environment for talent agencies.
